Our 2021 Open Evening was truly magical. It felt wonderful to open up our doors again for people to experience for themselves what a great school this is for young people to find their magic.
The night began with the video above, which set the scene for a magical evening. Then some brave students spoke to our visitors about their experiences here at Ryburn. Ryburn Dance Academy and our school band treated us to some amazing performances. The theme of the night was ‘create magic’, so we incorporated some magical moving picture frames, featuring our Headteacher and the Chief Executive Officer of the Together Learning Trust. The presentation ran four times throughout the night, allowing everyone to get a chance to enjoy the show.
What really makes Ryburn magical is the amazing people in it, and that was demonstrated all around the school. We had over 200 eager student volunteers on hand to give tours and answer any questions. And let’s not forget our enchanting staff who presented the school at its best, and gave parents and students a taste of the brilliant learning experiences we offer. We are so proud of our entire school community.
There was such a buzz around the school and feedback was great. See the video below for comments from some prospective new students. We loved how they picked up on the confidence we nurture in our students and how supportive the teachers are.
