Get a taste for adventure at Ryburn’s legendary Year 7 Camp. Students develop social skills, confidence and independence in the great outdoors.
Since 2006, Year 7 students at Ryburn have been going to camp, and all have stories and memories of an invaluable and fun experience.
The residential trip is designed to build social and teamwork skills as well as outdoor education. Through exciting activities like raft building, orienteering and bush craft, students get to experience new things, boost their confidence, become more independent and develop friendships. It’s a fantastic end to your first year at Ryburn.

What do we do?
Students work in small teams and try out a wide range of exciting and challenging activities. All of these are designed to develop skills such as teamwork and planning, as well as practical outdoors skills. The best way to learn is through experience, and Camp is packed with them. You’ll come back feeling proud of what you have achieved and the independence you have shown.
