Caitlin Kirby: Software Engineer
Caitlin Kirby is a previous student of our school and sixth form. She recently paid us a visit to tell us all about her exciting role as a Graduate Software Engineer working for the BBC. Caitlin studied Computer Science from GCSE all the way through to A-Level with us before going on to study at the University of Manchester. She comments that if it wasn’t for her Computer Science lessons and encouragement from Mr Cleary she wouldn’t have taken the subject further or be in the role she has now. Caitlin has some great insights into the role of a software engineer and offers excellent advice for students considering a career in her field. Watch the full interview below.
