Cyber Resilience at Home.
National Online Safety has released a new guide for parents and carers. This week’s content is centred around cyber resilience in the home.
Our use of technology and tech services within the home has grown exponentially in recent years. We can adjust our heating and turn lights on from our phones, stream shows and films on demand, control music through smart speakers, and much more. However, as we introduce new devices into our homes, we also increase the level of threat from cyber criminals. Therefore, National Online Safety has put together a guide with 12 tips on how to improve your cyber resilience in the household.
The tips offer advice on password security, multi-factor authentication, recovery questions and more important factors to consider. They also advise continuing to have fun with technology. The more you enjoy and experiment with your new gadgets the easier it is to learn about them.
