Ryburn Careers Fair 2023
Last month, our Careers Day took place for students to explore their post-16 options alternative to sixth form. Every year we like to hold a Careers Fair for students to visit and speak to employers, and this year’s event was bigger and better than ever!
We had at least 20 stalls with lots of fantastic guests providing students with details about their fields, paths they can take into different careers, advice for applications, and lots more.
The event is mainly for Year 11 students, but this year we were able to have students from other year groups visit and get an early insight into opportunities available to them after their GCSEs. Students really enjoyed the fair and the main feedback from them was that it was interesting to find out just how many different kinds of jobs there were in each field that they hadn’t even thought about.
We are very happy to be able to hold events such as these, showing students just how many opportunities there are and preparing them for their futures outside of the classroom.
